Chemistry PDI has developed more than 400 proprietary formulations that include flexible foams, micro cellular, and rigid foams and elastomers. Our staff of polymer research chemists engineer polyurethane systems to meet application specific physical requirements. Currently PDI produces molded urethane foams ranging in density from 0.05 grams per cubic centimeter to 0.98 grams per cubic centimeter, and offers foam and elastomer hardness options between '000' and 'E' Shore scales. The Company currently holds five patents and has several patent applications pending in the United State Patent Office, all of which relate to the design and manufacture of specialized polyurethane components. |
