| Engineering
To support the myriad customer requirements, PDI has an expansive engineering department which included Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The Company currently supports 21 seats of Silicon Graphics based workstations running state of the art 3 dimensional design software. Each CAD engineer progresses a project from basic blue print plots to complex wire frame, shaded model surfaces and tool path creation, ensuring a correct and seamless transition from CAD to CAM. As a result of the Company's decision to develop proprietary manufacturing systems, extensive Computer Aided Manufacturing and Finite Element Analysis are employed to guarantee safety, accuracy and repeatability in every aspect of manufacturing. |
